Come join us at Mercer University School of Medicine to interact with medical students and find out what it's like to be a Doctor for a Day!
About this Event

Doctor for a Day is a FREE event held to help rural high school & college students learn more about becoming a healthcare professional.

This event will take place Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm EDT in Macon, Georgia at Mercer University School of Medicine. Registration begins at 8:00 am and ends at 9:00 am. Participants will be able to participate in hands-on medical cases and sessions, and be able to seek mentorship and network with people from a variety of backgrounds. Speakers will share their medical career journeys and motivational stories, provide a step-by-step guide on how to successfully prepare for medical school, and offer crucial guidance and advice into pursuing medicine as a career!

In addition to registration, participants are required to submit telephoto and liability waivers. Be sure to check your email for documents/ updates.

Many past attendees go on to medical school and embark on their future careers in healthcare. Let us serve as a source of inspiration and mentorship at the beginning of your career!
