YPI Doctor for a Day 2024 - Macon

The Doctor for a Day (D4AD) conference is a FREE event held to provide rural high school and college students, with an interest in pursuing a medical career, the opportunity to meet with accomplished physicians and medical students and learn more about the path to becoming a physician.

This event will take place Saturday November 9, 2024, from 9 am to 2:30 pm EDT in Macon, Georgia at Mercer University School of Medicine. Registration begins at 8:30 am and ends at 9:00 am. Participants will be able to participate in hands-on medical cases and sessions, and be able to seek mentorship and network with people from a variety of backgrounds. Speakers will share their medical career journeys and motivational stories, provide a step-by-step guide on how to successfully prepare for medical school, and offer crucial guidance and advice into pursuing medicine as a career!

Many past attendees go on to medical school and embark on their future careers in healthcare. Let us serve as a source of inspiration and mentorship at the beginning of your career!
