Youth Watersports Summer Camp on Lake Travis
About this Event
Campers rotate through wakesurfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, tubing, and free swim, with every session sized and paced to their age and comfort level. Every camper goes home with a set of professional action photos and their own Lake Life Vibes camp tee.
Camp is captained by Kyle, an experienced boat captain and strong swimmer with a rare gift for coaching kids — patient, encouraging, and hundreds of successful first-time wakesurfers to prove it. Kristin rounds out the team on the water, watching over every camper while capturing the week through professional photos.
Why Lake Life Vibes Camp
- A full 5-day week — Monday through Friday, more days on the water means more fun and developed skills.
- All equipment included — boards, life vests, and safety gear provided; campers just bring a water bottle and lunch.
- Pro photos, included free — a gallery of action shots from the week, ready to share.
- Camp tee, included free — every camper takes home an exclusive Lake Life Vibes camp t-shirt.
- Small groups — campers are grouped by age and skill so instruction is never one-size-fits-all.
- On Lake Travis — in a quiet residential section of the lake with far less boat traffic than other camps. We operate from our private boat dock at Austin Surf Lodge and not a public marina.
- Location: 1017 Indian Mound Rd, Spicewood, TX
FAQ
Do you provide lunch? Campers should bring a sack lunch and a reusable water bottle. We provide a healthy snack both mid-morning and mid-afternoon, plus water refill stations all day.
What if my child has never wakesurfed or wakeboarded before? That's most campers! Instruction is built for first-timers through kids looking to level up, with boat wake & speed and coaching tailored to each group.
Will my child be wakesurfing by the end of the week? Every camper progresses at their own pace — most campers are up and riding with some confidence by the end of the week; younger campers build comfort and foundational skills. Either way, they'll leave more confident in the water and with a week of great memories (and photos to prove it).
What's your camper-to-instructor ratio? 4:1 or better. We take supervision and safety seriously.
What happens if the weather is bad? If there's lightning or heavy rain we will shift to land based or inside activities.
What is your cancellation and refund policy? We are unable to offer refunds. No discounts can be given for late arrivals or early departures. However you can credit an unused camp purchase to another week if the camper has not already started the week.
Can siblings or friends be grouped together? Let us know in your registration notes and we'll do our best to accommodate, based on group size and age-appropriateness.
