Youth Voices & Choices - BUILDING RESILIENCE TO TRAUMA

The Community Meditation Center and Covenant Counseling invite you to hear about Youth Voices & Choices, using Community Resiliency Model (CRM), Supporting Youth Experiencing Trauma (SYET) and other resiliency tools and techniques.

WHO: Youth and Parents

WHAT: Training Composed of Six Educational Sessions

WHEN: 2nd and 4th Saturdays, February – April (Six Sessions)

Kick-off : January 27, 2024, 10:00a.m.-1:00p.m.

WHERE: Phyllis Wheatley Center, YWCA (Exception: March 9, 2024, session will be held at Logan Temple AMEZ Church, 2744 Selma Avenue)

All ages can learn to:

 Practice Effective Resiliency Skills

 Manage Normal and Chronic Stress

 Build Protective Factors
