Youth Throwers Workshop: Healthy Shoulders for Baseball & Softball Athletes
About this Event
Baseball and softball place unique demands on growing athletes, especially when it comes to shoulder health. This interactive workshop is designed for youth throwing athletes ages 8–18 and their parents to learn how to keep arms healthy, strong, and ready for the season ahead.
Participants will learn common causes of shoulder pain in young throwers, warning signs that shouldn't be ignored, and practical strategies to reduce injury risk throughout the season. Athletes will be guided through a hands-on session focused on proper warm-up techniques, shoulder stability, mobility, strength, and recovery exercises that can be incorporated into their regular routine.
Whether your athlete is stepping onto the mound for the first time or competing at a higher level, this workshop will provide the tools needed to support long-term health and performance. Our goal is simple: help young athletes stay healthy, build confidence, and continue doing what they love.
