About this Event
We are excited to announce our event on the 8th and 9th of November.
Boulderworld Belfast on Saturday 8th | Awesome Walls Dublin on Sunday 9th

This will be a 2 day training and trials event with results and performances across the weekend guiding the selection of the 2026 Irish Youth Squad and Irish Development Squad.
This is not the sole criteria for selection but will be a crucial component along with attitude and performance across the 2025 season.
Regardless it will be a brilliant weekend of climbing and training!
Starting in Boulderworld Belfast on Saturday 8th. A day focused on Bouldering. Covering onsight competition boulders, project boulders and some conditioning (everyone’s favourite!)
The following day will be held at Awesome Walls Dublin on Sunday 9th which will be lead / top rope focused. Covering best repoints and own level endurance.
Both days the timings are as follows :
Please note the age categories are based on the 2026 season
U11/U13/U15 11:00 - 16:00
U17/U19/U23 13:00 - 18:00
This event will be open to all youth climbers (that fall within the above age categories) with an active interest in being selected for either the development squad or the youth squad programme for the 2026 season. Actively competing at the YCS level or above.
If you are unsure of the level please talk to your local coach or contact us for more information.
Please ensure that the youth participant is either signed off to climb independently in the centres above / or will have a suitable 18+ accompanying them on a 1:2 (Adult :Junior ratio)for the duration of the event. Please check centre rules to ensure the criteria for entry is met.
If you cannot meet this criteria but would like to attend please contact us.

U11 = DOB 2017/2016
U13 = DOB 2015/2014
U15 = DOB 2013/2012
U17 = DOB 2011/2010
U19 = DOB 2009/2008
U23 = DOB 2007/2004
