Youth Mental Health First Aid is a program that provides skills to:
Recognize signs of mental illness
Spot signs of substance use disorder (SUD)
Provide support in a mental health crisis
Talk to family and friends about mental health

Due to the sensitivity of the topic, this training is exclusively for adults. There will be no childcare during training. A light breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided.
Participants will receive a $25 gift card and certificate of participation

The facilitators will be Marcela Carvajal, Marcela Carvajal, MPH. Outreach Project Specialist at University of Nebraska Medical Center & Ph.D. student. Department of the Epidemiology University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health
