About this Event
Register today to reserve your free seat to this valuable life-saving training being held on October 22nd in Wilmington. At the end of this course, you will receive a certification that is good for 3 years.
This course is open to Wilmington workers at no cost to you, thanks to a grant from the City of Wilmington.
This class will be held at the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF) building on Faulkland Road in Wilmington. Free parking is available in front of the building. When you enter, please check in at the front desk. We will be in Rooms 198 & 199.
What is Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)?
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in youth and young adults, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary.
