Open to the first 25 people! Must live or work in the United States. The cost is $50.00 per person. Scholarships are available upon request.
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to sign of mental health and substance use challenges among youth ages 12-18.
You will learn:
- common mental health challenges for youth
- typical adolescent development
- how to help youth in both crisis and non-crisis situations
- 5-step action plan (ALGEE)
Format: Participants must complete 2 hours of pre-work using a computer with an internet connection prior to the live session
