Youth Mental Health First Aid : Blended Learning - 07/13/2023

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 5-hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

How Blended Youth MHFA Works: 2 hours of online self-paced coursework followed by a scheduled 5-5.5 hour in person instructor led- class . The In Person Instructor led portion of this course will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 4:00pm-9:00pm at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health located at 9697 W 191st Street, Mokena, IL 60448

What it Costs: $23.95 per participant, $50.00 for 6 CEU's ( LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT and Psychologist)

• 3 Year MHFA certification

• 6.0 CEU's (LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT and Psychologist) for a $50 Fee

Prior to the in-person instructor led session, you will receive an email titled "MHFA: Let’s get started!" that will contain log in information and steps that need to be taken to complete your pre-work. This pre-work needs to be completed 24 hrs prior to the In Person Instructor led portion of this course
