For ages 6 and up! A perfect arts activity now that's school is out! In this workshop we will make a birdhouse out of a hollow gourd. Gourds make great natural homes for small birds and can last for years! Students get to choose their gourd shape and decorate their birdhouse however they please.
If we finish our houses early, there are plenty of small gourds we can decorate to make birds of our own that can be placed in the garden and hopefully encourage other bird visitors to come!
The class is $30 per registrant, 3 hours in length, and all materials and supplies are included. Due to the nature of this activity students may want to bring a smock or old shirt to wear that they wouldn't mind getting paint on.
A completed permission form must be submitted for each participant at the beginning of the class. If the participant and yourself are both comfortable please complete and submit a photo release as well.
Permission forms are provided upon your arrival.
