Join this youth cooking class to learn about healthy eating and cooking from scratch, then create a delicious meal to share with everyone. Bookings essential. For youth aged 15 to 21yrs. Hosted by Foodbank WA's Nom! program. Meals are vegetarian and gluten free.
Participants will explore the fundamentals of eating and cooking homemade vs takeaway. This class is designed to equip young adults with essential culinary skills that will not only help them make smart food choices but also prepare them for independent living as they transition into adulthood. Participants will gain confidence in the kitchen by mastering basic cooking techniques, understanding nutrition, and planning balanced meals.
