About this Event

We are thrilled to announce that the Youth in Nature Summit will be returning in 2026!

The 2026 youth-led Summit is organised by BTO’s Youth Advisory Panel in collaboration with Green Jobs for Nature.

Building on the spirit of previous Summits, young people are coming together to organise a fantastic two-day event designed to inspire and engage young people (aged 14-25) and leaders across the environmental sector, while welcoming voices from all backgrounds and removing barriers to participation.

The Youth in Nature Summit 2026 is generously supported by Opticron, Raptor Aid and two private donors.

Day 1: Saturday 21 February 2026
Day one focuses on connecting young people who are new to nature with those already established in conservation. Together, we’ll explore how to build relationships with the living world, grow meaningful connections, and create an inclusive space for everyone.

Day 2: Sunday 22 February 2026
Day two focuses on showcasing opportunities for young people interested in conservation and helping them develop the skills needed for a broad range of pathways into the sector.

Tickets

The Youth in Nature Summit is open to young people aged 14–25.

All tickets for the Summit are free, so that cost is never a barrier to taking part. During the booking process, there will be an optional add-on donation, and we warmly encourage anyone who feels able to contribute to do so. Any amount, big or small, is truly valued and helps cover event costs such as the venue, catering, and workshops, as well as funding travel bursaries to enable more young people to attend. Your support helps keep the Summit free and accessible to everyone.

There are two main ticket options:

  • Discover tickets – for attendees who are newer to nature and conservation
  • Develop tickets – for those looking to build skills, knowledge, and pathways into the sector

An accompanying parent/carer ticket will also be available for parents or carers attending with under 16s, or for carers supporting attendees with disabilities or additional support needs.

Anyone under 16 will require consent from a parent or carer to attend.

PLEASE NOTE: Saturday and Sunday tickets are listed separately. If you would like to attend both days of the Summit, you will need to book two tickets - one for Saturday and one for Sunday. This allows attendees to choose the day (or days) that best suit them.

Accessibility

The Summit venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with lifts, accessible toilets on each floor, and an Evac Chair. Guide dogs are welcome, and gender-neutral toilets are available. There will also be quiet and prayer spaces for attendees.

An accompanying parent or carer ticket is available for under 16s, or for attendees who require additional support. For any other accessibility needs, please get in touch with us in advance so we can help make the Summit as inclusive and welcoming as possible.

Travel Bursaries Available

We want to make the Youth in Nature Summit accessible to everyone. If you need help with travel costs, you can select a travel bursary when booking your ticket. Funds are limited, so please only apply if you genuinely need support. After your ticket purchase, we’ll email you to confirm your bursary. The exact contribution provided will depend on the number of attendees requesting support.
