Youth Improv Summer Camp Program @ Jest Improv!

JEST Improv's signature Youth Summer Comedy Program is back to bring the wonder of improv comedy to the youth of Ventura County! This will be a great environment for young people who are looking to explore their comedic voice/comedy acting and/or looking to spend the last part of their summer laughing and creating with new friends. These programs are structured for ages 8-17.​
Program participants will explore the fundamentals of improv as taught by the JEST Improv Comedy School and develop skills like creative thinking, self-confidence, listening, getting out of your head, team building, empathy, handling anxiety and communication, all while having loads of fun! They’re introduced to basic improv games, the art of creating a story as a group and creating fun characters on stage.​
We will have one program taking place this summer.
The days this program will take place on is July 13th through the 17th with a showcase on July 19th. Each session will be from 10am-2pm.
There will be multiple breaks throughout the session with a 30 minute lunch break. Concessions/beverages will be available for the students.
