In partnership with Fallon Tribal Health Clinic’s Circles of Care, we present the 2021 Youth GONA on Friday, June 18th, open to all Native youth in Nevada, ages 11-19. Registration forms can be downloaded here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1w9aBxR-uL2g1Q156TEqyZZTcMybGRtaO/view?usp=sharing
Please fill out all required information before the event and email a completed copy to Hannah Arthur at [email protected]. If you do not have a printer, no worries! Just fill out all required information except for the signatures. We will print off all emailed registration forms and take them to the event. Just arrive a little early, and we will have the guardian sign the paperwork in person. Guardian signatures are required for event participation.
Participants will attend workshops that teach the four guiding principles: Belonging, Mastery, Interdependence, and Generosity.
Our goal is to bring our Native youth together and inspire a sense of cultural identity and community and reconnect after the long year.
We will help them learn how to cope with stress in ways that create healthy, strong, and substance-free community members.
