Calling All Youth & Families, January 20 2K25 for the “Youth Financial Reality Fair 2K25”

In honor of 30th Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service, you are cordially invited to bring your children 5 to 17 years of age and family members to participate in ”Youth Financial Reality Fair 2K25". Philadelphia has the highest poverty rate among the 10 largest cities. We are preparing Young America and their families with the best practices to increase their financial capabilities. 40 million Americans are dealing with economic and social hardship of living below the poverty level and 11 million children included. "1 in 7 kids lives in poverty". These challenges warn us why we need to increase our financial capabilities. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. last message was about "Redistribution of the Wealth and the Pain" Can we concentrate on the wealth, especially during these unprecedented times? Our financial well being, financial capabilities and security of the family is vital to survival. "The Covid -19 pandemic, lingering recession and inflation continues devastate the children and their families. We need serious intervention for economic recovery.

Financial Reality Fair 2K25 gives the opportunity for the youth to experience some of the financial challenges and rewards they will face when they start life on their own. They will participate in real-world economic interactive activities and simulations. Financial Reality Fair Preparing Children for Real Life is a hands-on experience in which the children: identify their career choice and starting salaries then complete a budget sheet requiring them to live within their monthly salary while paying for basics such as housing, utilities, transportation, clothing, food and so much more.

Our financial well being, financial capabilities and security of the family is vital to survival. Poverty is a mental disorder. This human-made disease is cruel, hereditary and disruptive effects are curable. Given our families, current financial circumstances decided how to make the best of the financial condition. Best practice for individuals, the family, finances and freedom.

Lets come together for a bit to eat, strategize, mobilize.
