This year's Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S.) for area high school students will feature breakout sessions on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Students can select from topics including: Applying for College, Careers in the Culinary Arts, Artificial Intelligence, Student Life & Housing, Professionalism (Interviews & Resumes), Social Media's Impact on College and Careers, Volunteerism, YTI: Training for a Rewarding Career, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, and more. Teens will have the opportunity to choose their sessions like selecting school electives.
Homeschoolers, private school, charter school, and public school students in grades 9-12 are welcome. The event will take place at York College's Willman Business Center.
