Youth Empowerment Legislative Forum

The Memphis/Shelby County Council on Children and Youth, a regional council of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth, will host its Youth Empowerment Legislative Forum on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

The Forum will be held at Methodist Le Bonheur Community Outreach, 600 Jefferson from 10:00a.m. to 12p.m. Attendees will include representatives from education, juvenile courts, early childhood, mental health, social service agencies, and others.

This annual event allows professionals and citizens to meet and network with their legislators. Legislators will serve on a panel and will be given time to make comments and respond to questions about childcare, community safety and youth justice. Presentations and updates will be made by TCCY and youth presenters.
