Join us for this Youth Cooking Club course all about sauces! Students will learn traditional preparations of mother sauces. Not sure what the mother sauces are? Take this course to find out! Some you may have heard of, some may be new to you, but each them has a myriad of uses in any kitchen. Chef Lukas will demonstrate the techniques and students will get to practice their saucier skills in class. There will be plenty of samples and leftovers to take home as well as recipes to use for any occasion.
This is the third course in our Youth Cooking Club Series. Take just one class or join us for the entire series to get hands-on practice in a wide range of culinary skills. Space is limited, so reserve your seats now!
Youth Cooking Club is for ages 13-17. Registration for this course will close on Thursday, December 5th at 11:59pm. Class will be held on the UAA Campus in Lucy Cuddy Hall. A release of liability will be provided when you arrive for class and agreement will be mandatory for participation. A responsible adult must come into the building to check students in.
