Youth Competitive Camp

The Forge Youth Competitive Camp offers a valuable opportunity for young fencers to dive deeper into the sport! Ideal for those aged 7 to 14 with at least six months of experience, the camp is geared toward Level 2 and Level 3 Academy members, Youth High Performance, and emerging High Performance athletes. Competitive experience is a bonus, but not required, making it accessible for developing fencers who are passionate about honing their skills and exploring competitive training.
Campers will train in foil, epee, and saber through various fun games and activities designed to build physical fitness, movement, and fencing techniques. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a registration cost of $475. While bringing personal fencing gear is recommended, club equipment is available if needed. For campers who want extra personalized training, optional individual lesson times are available during camp starts
Visitors from other clubs are encouraged to join, and with downtown Durham nearby, it’s easy to find local accommodations, including some homestay options and Airbnb choices within walking distance of the club.
