Join Laura from Clay it Forward for a llama loom class!
Using clay, kids will cut out and decorate their llama. They will also learn where llamas come from and what they are used for including the decorative costumes and woven blankets adorning llamas in those countries.
Clay llamas will be fired in the kiln by Laura and returned to Monster for your pick up within four weeks. You will also receive instructions to weave on your llama loom.
This class will take place at Monster on 8/11 starting at 4:00 p.m. The address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107
4 people minimum, 10 maximum. Ages 10-15.
All attendees will receive 20% off any purchases at Monster that evening.
Laura Souyoultzis is a 20 year veteran of ceramics and has been bringing projects to classrooms for over 15 years. She is the current president of Washington Clay Arts and works out of her studio in the Roosevelt neighborhood.
