Youth Cinema Screening Series:
Youth Cinema Screening Series showcases the creative endeavors of young filmmakers, providing a platform for their voices and stories to be heard. This series aims to celebrate youth perspectives through diverse and engaging films, fostering a community of young filmmakers and film enthusiasts.
Join us for a powerful evening of storytelling and conversation as we screen #DTMUS, a mental health short film that follows two African American teens navigating the pandemic from different perspectives.

The screening will be followed by a special Q&A session with Anah Ambuchi – the 16-year-old Kenyan American actress, director, writer, and producer behind the film! ? Known for her roles in SHOWTIME's The Chi, BET's A Christmas Wish, and more, Anah brings incredible passion and depth to this project.
About the Film:
#DTMUS (PG-13) sheds light on the mental health challenges young people face, particularly in Black and Brown communities. This 20-minute short film is inspired by real events and aims to spark important dialogue around youth mental health.
