This 5 days long youth blacksmith program is for the young aspiring blacksmith ages 12 -17. Students will learn to forge with confidence and complete projects independently. They will learn about safety in a metal workshop, basic metallurgy, proper hammer-technique, the fundamentals of blacksmithing and traditional forging techniques. With these skills our students will taper, scroll, punch and twist metal into a functional and decorative shape. No experience is necessary!June 28 - July 2, Monday to Friday 9 AM to 12 noon

Cost: $450/student
Our workshops and day-camp groups have always been intentionally small! Our new policy reduced the number of participants even lower which allows for more space and even more personal attention to each student!
