Come and join the NEA Youth Arts Collective!

Young people will work with artists to select and develop a new performance to be presented at the Edinburgh Children's Festival family day and at the North Edinburgh Community Festival in May 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity for local 11 - 13 year olds living in North Edinburgh to have their say on activities taking place locally and get involved in organising local arts projects and events.

If you're interested in learning more about what's involved in creating a performance piece, would like to develop skills such as critical thinking and providing feedback and help shape what's on offer locally, we'd love to hear from you.

Weekly sessions will be held at West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre, every Thursday, 5.30pm to 7pm, from 24 October to 12 December 2024.

The NEA Youth Arts Collective is part of Imaginate and North Edinburgh Arts project, Creative Encounters, which puts children at the heart of decision making.

Important Information:

These sessions are aimed at young people living in the local community (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw).
