Youth Art Camp

Week 1 - Animals of All Kinds

June 21st, 22nd & 23rd 10am - 1pm each day

$120 each all supplies included

Learn to create a variety of paintings, drawings and mixed media pieces featuring your choice of animals. Each day we will focus on a different type medium and your choice of animals from around the world both big and small. Each student can pick which animals they are most inspired by and will learn how to create an art piece focusing on these critters.

Monday - Painting Day - Students will create several watercolors or acrylics on paper. They will also be able to paint their own critter rock art, where students will turn a river rock into a critter friend or their own choosing.

Tuesday - 3D Day - Students will choose to create a Glass Mosaic animal or learn to Carve and Print a Lino Cut Critter

Wednesday - Mix-It-Up Day - Students will learn to create a Mixed Media Collage Animal painting with a variety of materials and paint. Students can also finish any project from one of the other days.

Week 2 - Landscapes and Sea Scapes

June 28th, 29th, 30th 10am - 1pm each day

$120 each all supplies included

Students will be inspired by at all things nature from the grand mountains to the smallest flowers and critters. Bring ideas to class to paint or choose from a wide variety of options. Come and explore everything from vibrant sunsets, crashing waves, trees and more. Students will even be able to explore their own imagined worlds where we merge the real and the fantasy.

Monday - Landscape and Seascape mosaics - Students will learn how to create their own glass mosaic piece (they will learn how to cut glass, design paintings, glue pieces how and grout)

Tuesday - Painting Day - students will create their own landscape or seascape paintings in acrylics, watercolors or pastels. We will explore several techniques to make a unique creation of the student's choosing. Students will also be able to finish anything not complete on Monday.

Wednesday - Fantasy Art - Students will explore creating their own painting combining elements from our world with their own fantasy world in a variety of mediums. They will even explore how they can add 3D elements to their work with texture and more.

This year Jen is going to have a limited 2 weeks of Youth Art Camp.

New Fun Classes for Kids 10-16 with Artist and Instructor Jen Livia - Jen loves to help inspire and foster creativity in her youth classes, she will teach a variety of techniques in each class and allow the kids to really make the paintings their own and explore their own style of creativity.

This class will push the student’s creativity and understanding of art into a new direction. Students will learn to work in a variety of mediums including Watercolors, Acrylics, Pencils, Mixed Media, Print Making, Mosaics and Sculpture. No previous art experience needed, bring a snack to keep you energized.
