Youth Advisory Council

Young people's opinions matter, which is why The MISTEM Network Advisory Council Grant's Science and Engineering Action Area has established a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) opportunity within its Strategic Plan. The main goal of this initiative is to cultivate a STEM Youth Advisory Council to guide the implementation of diverse initiatives to foster increased STEM identity among students.
In a groundbreaking move this year, The STEM Greenhouse is proud to announce the inaugural YAC event, set to take place at Aquinas College, and we would like to share an invitation to students across the Grand Rapids area to participate in this exciting opportunity. This event represents a unique chance for our community's students to contribute their perspectives to advancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics-focused education. We are very excited to welcome two representatives from each school within the region to attend this event.
It will be an exciting time of fun, curious learning, and shared ideas. Students who attend will have an opportunity to add this event to their resume as an achievement. Please confirm your attendance by RSVP below, and mark your calendars for May 18th.

This is a one-time opportunity, and invited students will not have to commit to doing anything else after this.
