You're All Gonna Die — Gilead's last Ash Wed Service

Gilead Chicago is a queer, storytelling, bar church that's been meeting on the north side for 8 years. We've made beautiful creative weird worship, thrown great parties, and told true stories that save lies. And now, we're dying.

Ash Wednesday is a day that's all about death. It asks you to think about the absolute most easily verifiable part of Easter: you're all gonna die. However you feel about that, join us at May Chapel in the heart of Rosehill Cemetery for pop songs, ashes, funeral procession, and motherscratchin' Mucca Pazza.
