Notes
This show is moderately dance heavy. A tap video audition will be posted for auditionees to send in at a later date.
All roles are open to any race, ethnicity, gender, or background. Age 15 and up may audition, leads will be adult focused
About the Show
Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang explore life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes and celebrate the joy of friendship.
What to Prepare:
Prepare 1–2 minutes of a song from, preferably from You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, or another musical theatre piece.
Please fill out the audition form attached.
There will be a dance call beginning at 6pm. Please dress comfortably and be ready to move!
A tap audition will be posted in the group at a later date. Your tap audition can be sent to [email protected] by June 4, 2026 at 6:00pm

Character Breakdown
*IPAL values diversity in race, physical ability, gender, sexuality, socio-economic background, age, and body type.
Anyone who sees a little of themselves in one of these characters is welcome and warmly encouraged to audition. The character descriptions indicate the age that the character should appear onstage, but does not need to match the age of the performer.*
Principal Roles:
Charlie Brown - (Range: [opt. A2] Bb2-F4 - Tenor) Description: The central character of the musical, Charlie Brown is an everyman. Though he is sometimes down, he is a kind, gentle kid, and has a big heart.
Sally Brown - (Range: [opt. A3] B3-Ab5 [opt. Bb5] - Soprano) Description: Charlie Brown's younger sister who is sweet but can also be skeptical and intense.
Snoopy - (Range: [opt. A2] C3-A4 [opt. D5] - Tenor or Alto) Description: Charlie Brown's lively pet beagle. Snoopy has a wild imagination. Other Notes: This part can be played by any actor who fits the vocal range. Must participate in video tap audition
Lucy Van Pelt - (Range: G3-F5 [opt. F#5] - Alto) Description: A classmate and friend of Charlie Brown’s. Despite her tough exterior, she has moments of compassion, vulnerability, and insight.
Linus Van Pelt - (Range: [opt. A2] Bb2-E4 [opt. F#4] - Baritone) Description: Lucy’s younger brother, who is intelligent and philosophical. Other Notes: Must participate in video tap audition
Schroeder - (Range: [opt. A2] Bb2-Ab4 - Tenor) Description: A classmate and friend of Charlie Brown’s. He is a piano-playing prodigy who is obsessed with Beethoven.
There will be named Peanuts ensemble roles available.
There will be up to 6 Woodstock featured dancer roles available. Must participate in video tap audition
