Your Voice Is Your Edge
How becoming more human makes you better at AI
Your story is the last thing you should give away, and the first thing to reclaim.
Corean Canty spent two decades building operating infrastructure for high-growth companies, and this year she returned to public media as COO of Nashville Public Radio. Her session is about the skills that keep their value as AI gets better at everything else, your voice, your self-knowledge, and your ability to make your own meaning.
What Corean brings
- Two decades as an operator, from first COO of We Are Rosie to COO of Nashville Public Radio
- From her TEDx talk “Who are you without your stories? (And why they’re slipping away)” — what we give up when we hand our narratives to technology
- Fifteen years as a professional improviser, and what that teaches about listening and trusting the room
Corean learned the stakes of voice watching her mother lose her narrative to memory loss. She teaches leaders to protect their own rather than hand it to technology that can imitate the words but not the judgment behind them.
You'll leave ready to lead with the voice and self-knowledge that no model can generate for you.
CREATE is The Human-Centered AI Conference for Women. CREATE 2026 runs October 16–18 at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center in Salt Lake City, with the pre-conference day on Friday and the Ballers Breakfast as a Monday add-on.
