What's actually happening on the night

One evening. 40 women. One room above Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, hosted by Chupi.

We're gathering the Women Unbranded community for an evening built around the one thing every woman in the room has in common — a style of her own, earned the long way. Through the wardrobes she built, the mistakes she made, the rules she ignored, the pieces she'll never give up.

One woman stands up and tells her story. Then she invites the next one to do the same. That's the format. No panel. No judging. No best-dressed. Just the conversations that usually only happen in the corners — moved into the middle of the room.

Among the women in the room will be those featured in Cathy O'Connor's Irish Country Magazine style column — alongside the wider Women Unbranded community of women who've stopped dressing for anyone else's comfort.

Our partner for the night — Vision Ireland

We're delighted to partner with Vision Ireland for this one. Vision Ireland is the country's national sight loss agency — and quietly, one of Ireland's largest and most respected sustainability stories, with 130 stores nationwide diverting hundreds of thousands of pieces of clothing back into circulation every year.

On the night, Vision Ireland's Ciara will open with us and Cathy — speaking about the work Vision Ireland does, the brilliance of buying preloved, why donating well matters, and the rails of finds they'll be bringing into the room for the style hunters among us.

Because anyone who knows style knows the best-dressed woman in any room is usually the one who didn't buy it new.

Who's hosting

The evening will be opened by Karen Pappin and Cathy O'Connor of Women Unbranded, alongside Ciara Coleman from Vision Ireland.

Cathy O'Connor is an Irish stylist, broadcaster and the founder of Women Unbranded. Her Irish Country Magazine style column is a celebration of personal style in real life — not the kind manufactured for a fashion shoot.

Karen Pappin is Co-Conspirator at Women Unbranded, brand storyteller, and founder of PointZero Brand Storytelling.

Women Unbranded is a growing community of women over 40 in Ireland who got tired of being invisible — to brands, to media, to themselves — and decided to do something about it. No filters. No fixing. No fading into the background.
