About this Event

Join us for an afternoon of self-inquiry where you'll gain insight into your relationship with stress and how to regulate your stress-response through mindset, movement & rest.

Physiologically, stress responses are interwoven with our emotions, immune function, thoughts, breath and movements - so it’s important to understand our unique body responses in order to self-regulate.

Dr Jessicarr Moorhouse - Movement as Medicine

Jess is an NHS doctor, currently working in psychiatry and working towards being a GP. She is also a qualified personal trainer and the founder of the inclusive outdoor exercise community TRIBE.MCR.

Jess has both personal and professional experience of the ways stress can affect our mind and body and how we can start to manage with this through exercise, in any form.

Emily Brinnand - Mindset

Emily is a Personal Development Coach and NLP Practitioner, working with people to improve their lives, wellbeing and mental health. After almost a decade working in media as a commercials producer, Emily re-trained as a coach to help others deal with the stresses and challenges of modern life.

Emily now coaches people to manage their stress, improve their relationships and gain a deeper understanding of themselves, so they can make positive changes.

Eirian Collinge of Cariad Yoga - Rest & Relaxation

Having been signed off work with burnout in her previous career, Eirian’s journey with Yoga & Meditation has taught her how to build resilience through compassion and deal with life’s challenges in a wonderfully creative way.

With over six years experience teaching yoga in the workplace, Eirian is passionate about helping others find the balance between work, rest and play and is currently studying to become a Yoga Therapist specialising in stress, burnout & sleep.
