Stronger Conversations. Healthier Workplaces
Join us for a special networking event featuring Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey and local wellbeing leaders as we explore New Zealand's newly launched Mental Health Toolkit and its practical application in today's workplaces.
The toolkit provides businesses with free resources and guidance to support employee mental wellbeing and connect people with appropriate support services.
This is an opportunity to hear first-hand about the vision behind the toolkit and discover practical ways to foster a culture where wellbeing is prioritised and conversations about mental health are supported.

A West Coast Health represenative will explore how to approach supportive conversations with empathy, confidence, and care, while recognising the important boundaries of a manager or colleague's role.
Drawing on resources from the Health NZ Mental Health Toolkit, we'll look at practical ways to:
- Start supportive conversations with confidence
- Respond appropriately when an employee opens up
- Recognise when additional support may be needed
- Connect employees with local support services and counselling options
- Build a workplace culture that encourages wellbeing and early intervention
The session will also highlight the support available through West Coast Health and provide practical guidance on how employees can access help when they need it.
