Your Florida-Friendly Yard 4-Part Series at SummerGlen
About this Event
Your landscape can have positive or negative impacts on the environment around it. By using the Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ principles, your yard can be beautiful, low-maintenance, and attractive to wildlife all while conserving water and protecting water quality. Join us for this free, 4-part series hosted by the UF/IFAS Marion County Extension Service. Participants will be given educational materials, soil testing kits, and the opportunity for a free yard evaluation after attending all classes! Open to the public.
Day 1: Friday, September 4 - Intro to FFL, Right Plant, Right Place
Day 2: Friday, September 11 - Watering and Fertilizing
Day 3: Friday, September 18 - Mulch and Attracting Wildlife
Day 4: Friday, September 25 - Managing Yard Pests Responsibly
