    About Jenn:
Jennifer Marr has spent the last six years developing her expertise and knowledge on the full range of music transactions including talent representation dynamics, major vs. indie deal considerations, and copyright/trademark licensing. Jennifer’s music law aspirations began while she was at Harvard Law School running Harvard’s Recording Artists Project, an org dedicated to artists' rights advocacy, while also moonlighting as a DJ, Void sound system operator & underground party promoter. Currently Jennifer practices at Myman, Greenspan Fox Rosenberg Mobasser Younger & Light LLP, working alongside the most reputable attorneys in music including music-department founder Eric R. Greenspan (long-time attorney to the Red Hot Chili Peppers). Since joining the firm in 2022, she has grown her clientele in the EDM and dance music adjacent spaces working with artists like RXK Nephew, RayRay, Alice Longyu Gao, FiFi Zhang, Charles Nimbus, ION, and Peter CottonTale. In the last year alone, she has handled matters for A-list talent ranging from Erykah Badu, Ciara, Common and Tate McRae to Rob Zombie and Godsmack, as well as cutting-edge contemporaries like Chika, Yeti Beats, Tobe Nwigwe, and Big Wild. She has also worked on pioneering ventures like the Limited Edition Music Publishing and Warner-Chappell Music JV, and visual artists like Sarah Bahbah.
Beyond her dedication to music law, Jennifer is a passionate advocate for electronic music. Originally stemmed from her roots as a basshead, it has since spread to all genres that make up the culture. Inspired by her diverse exposure to dance music spanning from a lifetime growing up in Shanghai’s nightlife scene, her first Coachella, Southern California desert parties, events in Berlin and Amsterdam superclubs, and highly regarded international festivals such as Dimensions Festival (Croatia) and Bass Coast (Canada), she brings a nuanced and critical perspective to the business and legal aspects of the electronic music industry.
