Mayrena Guerrero | She/Her/Hers
Founder and CEO of Colorful Resilience LLC

Mayrena Guerrero is a Queer-Afro-Latina immigrant from Dominican Republic. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the Founder and CEO of Colorful Resilience LLC. Mayrena is an immigrant originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She moved to the USA in 2005 to pursue her master’s degree. Mayrena has a BS in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Católica Santo Domingo and a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Fitchburg State University.

Mayrena worked for many years in outpatient community mental health before starting her private practice in 2015. Mayrena founded Colorful Resilience LLC in February 2022 in order to help meet the outpatient mental health needs of the various communities she has been providing services to throughout her career. Mayrena identifies as Queer. She lives with her child in Western Massachusetts. Mayrena speaks openly of all her intersectionalities in order to normalize conversations about them.

Isa Woldeguiorguis | She/Her/Hers
Executive Director of The Center for Hope and Healing (CHH)

Isa Woldeguiorguis has been the Executive Director of The Center for Hope and Healing (CHH) since 2012. CHH has served victims of rape and sexual assault, provided education and awareness raising to eradicate sexual violence in the greater Lowell Massachusetts area for 40 years. Prior to this, she worked in the antiviolence field for twenty-two years, holding several statewide and national roles in the movement to end sexual and domestic violence.

From 2007-2010, Ms. Woldeguiorguis worked at the MA Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence (Jane Doe Inc.) as Policy Director and then Membership Director. She worked at the MA Department of Social Services (DSS), now the Department of Children and Families (DCF), from 1994- 2007. She began as an advocate and ultimately became the Director of the MA DSS Domestic Violence Unit- the first such unit in the country and a national model for integrating domestic violence advocates in the public child welfare system. Her final tenure was serving as Assistant Commissioner for Practice and Policy, during which time she played a role in redesigning the practice model to become family-centered & assisted in building an integrated practice in substance abuse, mental health and domestic violence.

Ms. Woldeguiorguis is a well-respected leader and national trainer in the field of child abuse, domestic and sexual violence, system change, policy and practice. She is well known for her dynamic training style and teaching skills on these topics and for her activism in the areas of race and racial disparities. She served as faculty on several national initiatives and co-instructed courses on leadership and the antiviolence movement at Simmons College School of Social Work. She has authored several articles on topics such as family-centered practice in child welfare, racial and ethnic disproportionality and immigration.

Lucia Elena Flores | They/Them/Elle
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist

Lucía Flores (they/them/elle) is a licensed independent clinical social worker in the State of Massachusetts. They have been practicing as a therapist since 2019, focusing on PTSD and complex trauma, identity exploration/concerns, and life transitions within BIPOC, queer and trans communities. They practice using a relational psychoanalytic and anti-oppressive lens and weave in somatic techniques, paying attention to how the body stores memory and communicates information. Their therapeutic style is collaborative, strengths-based and trauma-informed.

Modesto has been a store manager for Puma for close to 2 years; before that, He has been Store manager for several Retail stores, such as Club Monaco and Pacific Sunwear.

He also have done Visual lead / Opening Team member helps Executed Visuals for new store openings. Traveled to stores and ensured all visual standards were being met. Creating Action plans for stores not meeting merchandising & graphic standards and follow-up And. Responsible for training managers and associates within the district on company visual standards.
