Join us on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Downtown Library (74 Mackenzie St) for a free workshop covering the role, election process, and how to take your first steps as a candidate. The evening will also include an art-activity to get you thinking about your values and priorities.
Interested and selected participants will also have an opportunity to receive free professional campaign consultation from PoliticsNow, an organization which empowers folks to become community leaders in Northern Ontario politics (limited availability)
Free and open to all. We especially encourage Black, Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQ+, women, gender diverse, and young people to participate.
