Ruth Sangale
I have 20 years HR and OD experience in the public and private sector, specialising in the
last 10 years in Creative Leadership development and executive coaching. I left the NHS in
2012 and now work as a leadership development specialist with a varied portfolio of clients
within the health and private sector.
In my last role in the NHS, I was responsible for programme managing the delivery of a
portfolio of Pan London Leadership programmes, talent management and alumni networks
and was the lead for coaching and mentoring across London. I now spend most of my time
coaching senior leaders and running accredited coaching programmes in the NHS.
In 2015 I completed an MA in Innovation Creativity and Leadership. My research project
explored what enabled leaders to be innovative in a non innovative environment (the NHS).
I am a faculty member for an NGO – WYSE International affiliated with the UN and twice a
year facilitate a 12 day leadership residential programme in Brazil, Italy, Kenya and India with young leaders from around the world using creative tools such as drama, drawing and
visualization.
In 2018 I started working with UNICEF and Plan International coaching country leaders
across the globe and running team development programmes in Afghanistan and Belize.
More recently have started working with WHO and UN WOMEN.
I became a coach 10 years ago and have gained over 500 coaching hours through coaching a wide variety of clients both nationally and internationally. I thrive on helping people to discover their talent and exploring what enables them to perform at their best by focusing on strengths and using creative tools to help thinking outside the box.
