This immersive workshop blends mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and creative expression to support emotional balance and inner calm. You will learn to recognize stress in your body, develop self-regulation tools through guided breathing, visualization, and relaxation techniques, and transform these experiences into a creative, personal calm-space artwork.

Workshop Process:

• Learn to identify how stress shows up in your body
• Practice coping and regulation skills through deep breathing, guided visualization, and relaxation techniques
• Create a personalized calm-space collage using free lines, textures, and colors that evoke peace, safety, and grounding

You leave with both practical regulation tools and a tangible visual anchor—a personal reminder of your calm space that you can return to anytime you need peace, grounding, or emotional reset.

Info: Luisa earned her master’s degree in art therapy from The George Washington University and is a board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC). She is an experienced visual artist with many years of teaching and facilitating expressive arts groups and workshops across community, educational, and therapeutic settings. Her work is grounded in the belief that creativity is a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, and personal growth. Luisa is passionate about creating welcoming, supportive spaces where individuals can explore their inner world, build insight, and connect with their strengths through the art-making process. With a warm, compassionate approach, she encourages participants to trust their intuition, embrace playfulness, and use art as a meaningful pathway to wellness and transformation.
