Anthropologists are trained in reflexivity but one research instrument is missing: the body!
About this Event

Open to all — no movement experience required. Through guided somatic movement practice, you will develop the body as a conscious research instrument — attending to your own sensory habits, how you read a space, how you respond to other bodies, what your movement reveals about the subjectivity you bring to the field. There are only 6 places!

Claire Loussouarn is a movement artist, filmmaker, and author based in London. She holds a PhD in social anthropology and is the author of 'How to be Feral: movement practices to re-wild your body' and runs 'Moving with the Seasons', a year-long somatic movement programme in Hackney Marshes. Her work sits at the intersection of body, land and perception.
