About this Event

Your 40s Health Map

A doctor-led workshop to understand your changing body and build your health plan for the decade ahead.

Your 40s can bring changes that seem to come out of nowhere — a different menstrual cycle, sleep that suddenly isn't what it used to be, changes in energy, mood, weight, brain function or metabolism.

And then there’s the noise: supplements, hormone therapy, bloodwork, “hormone balancing,” strength training, diets…

What actually matters? And what should you be doing now?

This intimate, hands-on workshop is designed to help you cut through the noise and understand what’s happening in your body — and, more importantly, what to do about it.

Led by Dr. Negin Sayar, ND, a former medical doctor and Ontario-licensed naturopathic doctor, you'll learn what to expect during the transition through your 40s, what to pay attention to, and how to prioritize your health without chasing every new trend.

This is not a lecture where you sit back and take notes.

With a small group of just 8 women, you'll work through a guided health-planning process and build your own roadmap for the decade ahead.

You'll leave with:

A clearer picture of your 40s
Understand the hormonal, metabolic, brain, bone, cardiovascular and menstrual changes that can happen during this stage — and what’s considered expected.

A better sense of what deserves attention
Learn what you can monitor yourself, what may be worth discussing with your healthcare provider, and when symptoms shouldn't simply be written off as “just getting older.”

A practical approach to hormone therapy
Get evidence-based answers to the questions you're probably already asking: Who may benefit? When is it considered? What should you discuss with your healthcare provider?

A realistic approach to supplements
Learn what has evidence behind it, what may actually be useful, and what you probably don't need to spend your money on.

Your personal Midlife Health Map
You'll complete a guided workbook during the workshop to identify your priorities, questions, areas to monitor and your next action steps — so you leave with something you can actually use.

A curated resource list
You'll receive a hand-picked list of practitioners, resources and tools to refer back to when you need them — so you don't find yourself Googling “best menopause doctor” at 3 a.m.

This is for you if...
  • You're noticing changes and want to understand what's happening.
  • You're wondering if what you're experiencing is “normal.”
  • You feel fine but want to be proactive about your health.
  • You've been overwhelmed by conflicting information about perimenopause.
  • You want to know what to track, what to test and what to prioritize.
  • You want a clear plan — without having to become an expert in women's health yourself.

The value: A personalized health roadmap like this would typically take one to two 1:1 naturopathic appointments, or roughly $500–$600 in consultation fees. Here, you’ll build your own Health Map in one evening, with a doctor guiding you through the process, for a fraction of the cost.

This workshop gives you the opportunity to learn, ask questions, reflect on your own health and build your roadmap in one evening, alongside a small group of women going through a similar stage of life.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.
