About this Event
The Super Power Agency are pleased to present a fun-filled evening with young Scottish writers, sharing stories, plays and poems they have written. Since 2016 we have been working with young people, from Edinburgh, in partnership with their schools and teachers to support them with their writing and publishing books from their work. We want to showcase this amazing work as these young authors are bursting with creativity and are proud and ready to share their achievements. In the sheltered garden at Teviot (Edinburgh Universtity Student Union)there will be readings, short films and guest appearances from a famous face or two. Refreshements will be available.
This event has been supported by the Year of Stories 2022 Community Stories Fund. This fund is being delivered in partnership between VisitScotland and Museums Galleries Scotland with support from National Lottery Heritage Fund thanks to National Lottery players.
Students, teachers, volunteers and staff from Leith Academy and SPA at the launch of our most popular book "The Leither's Guide to Leith".
