Young Playmakers LAB - EnActe Theatre Camp Week 2
Young Playmakers LAB is a dynamic, hands-on one-week camp where creativity meets the script.
If your child loves writing stories, creating deep worlds, or dreaming up fascinating characters, this is the perfect place for them to channel that imagination.
Under the guidance of professional theater artists, campers will discover the fundamentals of scriptwriting, story structure, and character development from scratch. Beyond writing, students will dive into the collaborative side of theater—working with their peers to share ideas, offer creative feedback, and experience what goes on behind the scenes of a real production.
The week wraps up with an exciting staged reading showcase for family and friends on Friday afternoon, where student scripts are read aloud, celebrated, and brought to life!
Camp Highlights:
Write Original Scripts: Learn the core fundamentals of world-building and character creation.
Behind-the-Scenes Teamwork: Collaborate with peers to pitch ideas and develop storytelling skills.
Staged Reading Finale: Celebrate your child's creativity during a live script reading on Friday.
