Young LeadHER Academy (6-Week Program) | Begins February 21st

The Young LeadHER Academy is a powerful 6-week confidence and leadership experience designed to help girls in 5th–12th grade build the skills they need to thrive in today’s world. This program is led by Founder & CEO Janee Young, a 20+ year Communications Professor, Certified Life Coach, and former collegiate athlete, who is passionate about empowering girls to find their voice, strengthen their confidence, and become the leaders they were created to be.

Our mission is to empower the next generation of young women to lead with confidence, communicate with courage, and grow strong character from the inside out.

Through fun, interactive activities, meaningful conversations, and real-life leadership tools, girls will learn how to use their voice, strengthen their self-esteem, build healthy friendships, and develop a future-focused mindset. Throughout the program, participants will also hear from inspiring local guest speakers who will share real-life lessons, career insight, and encouragement to help girls expand what they believe is possible.

Girls will learn what healthy friendships look like, how to set boundaries, and how to build strong sisterhood. We’ll address confidence in friendships, handling “mean girl” moments, and choosing friends who bring out the best in them.

This week teaches girls how to think like leaders and creators. They’ll explore goal-setting, confidence with money, personal responsibility, and how to turn ideas into opportunities—building a strong foundation for independence and future success.

Girls will learn how to care for their mental and physical health through emotional awareness, self-care strategies, and positive routines. We’ll also highlight the importance of movement and joy, building habits that support confidence and inner strength.

This week focuses on exploring future goals, discovering strengths, and building a vision for life after high school. Participants will tour a local university, giving them an exciting inside look at college life and helping them visualize their next level.

This week equips girls with practical life skills that build independence and confidence. From everyday responsibility to decision-making and self-management, girls will learn the basics of becoming capable, confident young women.

Our final week is a powerful wrap-up experience that celebrates growth, confidence, and leadership. Girls will reflect on how they’ve changed, showcase what they’ve learned, and leave with renewed confidence, sisterhood, and a stronger voice.
