Join us for a vibrant, intergenerational cultural celebration across Calgary’s downtown! Led by the Happy 50+ Association in partnership with YHOS, this series transforms public spaces into dynamic hubs of wellness, artistic mentorship, and community heritage.

Details: Kick off the series with an open-air Tai Chi workshop in Da Qing Square. Designed to promote mental and physical wellness, this session welcomes Calgarians of all ages and mobility levels.

Details: Experience a co-curated exhibition where senior "Old Souls" partner with youth "Young Hearts" to share visual storytelling, traditional artistic techniques, and collaborative artwork.

Details: Our grand finale merges traditional Golden Wedding celebrations with the Mid-Autumn and Double Ninth festivals, featuring dynamic joint performances by the youth of YHOS and community seniors.

• Collaborative Curation: Youth volunteers act as Junior Curators, helping senior artists design exhibition layouts and document the stories behind the artwork.
• Digital Oral History: Visit our Digital Storytelling Kiosk at the finale to hear recorded "wisdom clips" from couples celebrating 50+ years of marriage, preserving intangible community heritage.
• Activating Public Spaces: Through free, accessible outdoor workshops in the downtown core, we are fostering community safety, vitality, and social connection for all Calgarians.
