Young Deaf adults aged 18–25: share your experiences and help improve support for deaf children aged 0–5 and their families.
About this Event

Leeds Involving People is inviting young Deaf adults aged 18–25 to take part in a friendly focus group.

We want to hear about your experiences of growing up Deaf, particularly your experiences during your early years.

We would like to understand what helped you, what could have been better and what you wish adults and professionals had understood when you were younger.

Your experiences and ideas will help us understand what works well, identify any gaps in support and help improve support for deaf children aged 0–5 and their families.

BSL interpreters will be available.

Refreshments will be provided and travel support is available if needed.

This project is delivered by Leeds Involving People (LIP) and funded by the National Deaf Children’s Society.
