🎉Get ready for a spectacular dance concert by the Young Dancemakers Company at the NY Society for Ethical Culture 🎉
Join us on FRIDAY, July 31st at 2PM for the 31th season of the Young Dancemakers Company!
❤️ This concert promises to be an unforgettable experience for all dance enthusiasts out there:
✔️ Experience an exciting one-hour concert featuring original dances created and performed by an ensemble of New York City teens.
✔️ Pieces feature original music by professional composers, in addition to live percussion by Music Director, William Catanzaro.
✔️ See Seasonal Fire, a signature work by Milton Myers, which premiered in 1994 and re-staged for YDC as a tribute to the Horton technique.
✔️ The concert is followed by a free interactive audience workshop in on-the-spot dance-making.
✔️ PLUS a post-concert Q&A with the company.
This concert is family-friendly and best for ages 7 and up.

Young Dancemakers Company (YDC) is a unique, tuition-free summer dance ensemble of NYC teens dedicated to creating their own original choreography and performing it in free touring concerts city-wide, for audiences of up to 2000 young people and adults each season. Company members, selected annually by audition, are drawn from throughout NYC public high schools.
Through daily intensive training and rehearsal sessions, the company creates original choreography based on meaningful personal and social themes.
