We are pleased to invite you to a dedicated training session led by Birmingham Young Carers, in association with Action for Children.

This session will help school staff:

• Increase understanding of who young carers are and the roles they play in their families.
• Explore the cumulative impact that caring responsibilities can have on a young person’s education, wellbeing, and development.
• Identify young carers in your school using practical strategies and indicators.
• Learn effective ways to support young carers, including pastoral approaches and referral pathways.

Whether you're a teacher, SENCO, pastoral lead, or support staff, this training will provide valuable insights and tools to ensure young carers are recognised and supported in your setting.
