Hosted by Greenlight bookseller Micah, the YA Book Group is a space for the curious young reader interested in a curated, intentionally diverse and broad selection of books. For February, the group discusses Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Color Purple, a message of healing, forgiveness, self-discovery, and sisterhood. Separated as girls, sisters Celie and Nettie sustain their loyalty to and hope in each other across time, distance, and silence.
