A Bi-Weekly Summer Series by Black Mothers In Power
Join us in person for an eye-opening event diving into the incredible legacy of Dr. Rebecca Crumpler.
Honoring Dr. Rebecca Crumpler, the first Black woman physician in the United States, this session centers the legacy of Black women in medicine and birth work. We will examine how medical racism developed, how it continues to shape maternal health outcomes today, and why reclaiming Black birth knowledge is a form of resistance, healing, and survival.
