You Can’t Stop the Beat!Cantare, an Oakland-based non-profit community choral organization, opens its 36th season with You Can’t Stop the Beat!, a concert of Broadway show music. Directed by David Morales, the summer adult choir will perform music encompassing over 100 years of Broadway favorites in small ensemble songs, stunning solos, and a multitude of medley arrangements. Selections include a medley of Rodgers&Hammerstein as well as music from Dear Evan Hansen, The Color Purple, Miss Saigon, Rent, Hairspray and many more!
